Kennedy is studying international law at Indiana University Bloomington and is an intern with the Bloomington City Council.

Hudson is studying secondary education at Taylor University and is teaching part-time at World Without End Classical School.

BJ Shaw attends Butler University, studying Sports Media and competing on the track and field team. He currently works with RaceCraft1, helping train the next generation of drivers.

Jazlin received an Entrepreneurship certificate from Ivy Tech and an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator certification before graduating from high school. She is a freshman at Indiana University Indianapolis.

Steven Scott attends Franklin College, studying Software Engineering and competing in soccer and track and field. He interned with INDYCAR’s software team, developing live tire data tools for Firestone.

Clara was named the 2026 Presser Scholar at Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and is completing an honors thesis on American campaign music.

Carolyn is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana University while working in Applied Behavior Analysis and completing a counseling internship.

    Yoezer is enrolled as a student athlete at Hope college (class of 2027) Triple majoring in Business, international studies, and Chinese.

  • Jayda Dawn ('23)

    Congratulations to Jayda Dawn on being named the 2026 Poetry Out Loud National Champion! Jayda is going into her senior year at University high school. 

  • Merritt Aalsma ('21)

    Merritt is going into his sophmore year at Taylor University where he is pursuing a degree in construction managment.

  • Anna Vanest ('20)

    Anna is entering her junior year at Taylor University, where she is studying social work. She will step into the role of chapel coordinator this year.

  • Winter Gammons ('18)

    Following gaduating from Taylor University, Winter (Nottingham) Gammons recently started her job at The Milk Bank as Donor Specialist.

    Steven is currently getting his masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana University South Bend. He is engaged to be marrried in February 2027!

  • Amira Vanest ('18)

    Amira Vanest returned to Indianapolis after graduating from Purdue University in May 2025 and has since been promoted to Assistant Regional Manager at Vida.

    Josie is currently working part-time at The Oaks Academy, helping to lead worship, while also serving as a part-time worship director at Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

  • London Brooks ('18)

    Congratulations to London Brooks for recently being crowned Miss Indiana for America Strong! She will represent Indiana while making an impact across the state.

    Norah Aalsma graduated from Taylor University in December 2025 and started working at The Oaks Academy.

  • Daniel Michael ('22)

    After graduating from Cathedral High School this spring, Daniel will attend the United States Air Force Academy (Class of 2030), where he plans to major in physics.

  • Carolyn Stevens ('16)

    After graduating from Taylor University in 2024, Carolyn is now pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana University.

  • Brian (BJ) Shaw ('19)

    BJ attends Butler University and studies sports media. He is on their D1 track & field team, breaking personal records in the 1600M and 200M.

    Steven is in his senior year at Franklin College, studying software engineering. He competes on their Track and Field tream as well as the soccer team.

  • Vivienne Smith ('19)

    Vivienne is a senior at Howard University and performs nationwide with the Howard Gospel Choir. She also recently sang at the 2024 East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival.

  • Sylvia Eddy ('22)

    Finishing her senior year at Covenant Christian High School, Sylvia plans to study English next year with a possible minor in Classics. Her top choice currently is Hope College.

    After graduating from University High School in 2024, Bryce is currently in his sophomore year at Hanover College.

    Cadet Candidate Jayden Seaton recently completed Early Path to Wings at the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School.

    Aila is a freshman at Northeastern University in Boston, majoring in international studies with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies

    Hudson is studying Secondary Education at Taylor University and hopes to teach history at The Oaks before pursuing his master’s degree.
