The Extended Day Program is our childcare offering and includes Before Care and After Care.

Before Care

• No reservation required; your child will simply be checked in and billed based on attendance.
• Before Care takes place at your campus. 
  • For Early Ed families only: Before Care is not offered at the Early Ed Center. Early Arrival begins at 8 am and there is no cost.
• Before Care begins at 7 am and ends at the start of the school arrival window (7:45 am at the middle school; 8:10 am at the lower schools).

After Care

• After Care now requires advance reservations and can be scheduled in advance.
  • Watch this tutorial to understand the reservation process.
• Reserve or cancel by 11:59 pm the day before attendance to avoid late or cancellation fees (missed reservations or late cancellations will be charged one hourly rate).
• After Care is offered only at our Martindale-Brightwood Campus. Students will use the new playground as well as space in the middle school and Early Education Center until The Oaks Fieldhouse opens later this fall.
  • For lower school families only: Lower school students with an After Care reservation will be transported by bus at the start of dismissal, and all Oaks Plus pickup will take place at the Martindale-Brightwood Campus.
• Students who are not picked up during regular dismissal will incur a $15 late fee in addition to After Care charges.
  • For lower school families only: Lower school students who are not picked up during regular dismissal and who do not have an After Care reservation will be walked to the front office, and parents will be contacted by a staff member to coordinate their pick-up location. If needed, students can be transported to After Care at the Martindale-Brightwood Campus.
• Students who are absent from school will not be charged.
• After Care ends at 6 pm. If your child is not picked up by 6 pm, a charge of $1.00 per minute will be incurred until they are picked up.
• To pick your child up from After Care, park along Columbia Avenue and walk to the Early Education Center main entrance, Door 3.  Show your PikMyKid app or dismissal card upon arrival. (Oaks Plus Pick-Up Map) 
• If you need last-minute After Care, call Oaks Plus at (317) 969-8364. We will do our best to accommodate urgent needs based upon availability.

fees 

• Pricing for all Oaks Plus offerings is determined by using an income-based sliding scale.
• Childcare fees range from $3.75 to $7.50 per hour, depending upon your family's pricing level. 
• After Care costs are billed to your account every month, and you are required to clear the childcare balance monthly. If you have changes regarding your household income, please contact our business office to determine if it affects your hourly rate.

Throughout the year, our team will email parents when clubs and other offerings are open for registration for the fall, winter, and spring sessions. Our goal is to offer a variety of fun and enriching clubs for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Space is limited for clubs. Registrations will stay open until the deadline or until capacity is reached. Registration is not complete, and a spot is not confirmed until payment is made.

Club fees are due at registration and will vary depending on your family's pricing level. Pricing levels are determined by using an income-based sliding scale. If you are eligible, a pricing tier discount will appear at the checkout stage of the registration process. If you have had a recent change in family income that may affect your pricing level, please contact our business office.

Throughout the year, our team will email parents when athletic teams are open for registration for the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Athletic teams are open to all 5th - 8th grade Oaks students. 

• Fall: girls and boys cross country, co-ed soccer, and girls volleyball
• Winter: boys basketball, girls basketball
• Spring: boys baseball, girls and boys track and field

All Oaks Plus athletic teams are no-cut (except baseball, due to safety concerns) as we offer in-house teams and conference teams. While all registered students will participate in our competitive sports programs, tryouts are necessary to divide players into appropriate age and skill-level teams.
